Why only do one sport when you can do many?

Members are encouraged to become involved in multi-sports such as trail running, road and mountain biking, duathlons (run / cycle / run) and triathlons.


Park Run

Many of our members participate in the Roodepoort Park Run every Saturday morning at Len Rutter Park (just off Golf Club Terrace).
It consists of a 4km or 8km route (2 x laps) and entry is FREE! Starting time 08:00.


Road Cycling

A number of a members participate in the 94.7 Cycle Challenge each year. Training for this and other big races is arranged by Roy Madden (082 454 7071) at different venues each week.


Mountain Biking

Details of mountain bike races are posted in attempt to get members participating.
Most of the races cater for all levels of participants as there are usually three or four distances ranging from 10km to 70km.
Stage events such as the joberg2c, Sani, Berg and Bush are also entered.


Duathlon and Triathlon

Duathlon and triathlon races are also posted.
These races also cater for all levels of participants, including kids races.
Events such as the 5150, Troisport Triathlon, Momentum National Duathlon Series, 70.3 Iron Man and Iron Man South Africa are some of the events completed by members.
